Just got hired by Iona after Pitino went to St. John’s. If Brad does not fulfill once again, which he will, this is one of the best options to look at. Assuming he does good at Iona as well.
I know we got a coach, everybody does. Doesn’t mean he’s the right one. And he’s also not the right one just because he’s been here 13 years.

Overrated B1G school? They were 17 - 14 in the regular season in maybe the worst conference in D1. Their strength of record was 367. I wouldn’t be excited for us to hire a coach who is 3 games above .500 in his D1 career.

You clearly don’t understand the difficulty in beating a #1 seed BIG10 Champ who was the tallest average team in the country this year. FDU was the shortest, it was all over media.
From the very start of that game those FDU players immediately showed more hustle, heart, and desire. Regardless of those things, it still has only happened twice in history. It’s why he got hired at Iona.
I did not say he was yet fully ready, but his personality, outgoingness, and his way with players seems it could only be a helpful change at Clemson. Let’s see him at Iona first, and Brad in year 14.

Ever have lost to a team seeded 13 or worse 3 times in the NCAA tournament, and Purdue’s Matt Painter has now done that 3 years in a row. That win was more a failure of Purdue and the B1G 10 than it was an accomplishment for FDU
