Both loses had a referee review plays that took goals away from us. It seemed to kill any momentum we had. Unfortunately, the schedule doesn't set up very well to turn things around. The next two games are against Top 10 teams.

My first Lacrosse post ...ever.
I want to be clear. I have no idea how the game is played , scored or any of the other things that are important to Lacrosse .

That said ...MERCER ? We lost to the Lil' Ol' Law School of Macon ? Are they a Lacrosse powerhouse or something ?
I feel sad for the girls. Thos is like losing to the Citadel in football , in your own stadium. Right ? Or wrong.

You're correct in the assessment. It'd be like fb losing to citadel or Furman. Yes, upsets happen. Yes the refs reversed a couple calls but it shouldn't have been that close. Hats off to mercer for believing in themselves. But it took a lot of mistakes and missed shots from us. Awful, just awful.

Well, she got credit but it epitomizes the day we had. She actually dinged it off the side cage rail. Kinda like a fg kicker. But it never should have been that close.
