Aamir Simms signs with NBA team

Former Clemson standout Aamir Simms has signed with the New York Knicks after going undrafted in Thursday's NBA draft. Congrats to Simms on getting picked up by the Knicks and good luck in the NBA. Simms was named second-team All-ACC last year and was honored with the Skip Prosser Award for being th Read Update »

So what happens now since he signed undrafted. Does he get to play? Practice squad? Or a chance to try out for a roster etc. Tia.

yes, might be better than being a late secound round pick. he doesn't fall in any price range as far as contract as a free agent. if he performs well in camp he can get a guaranteed contract.
