Savoie and Daley give us some great pop. I still am a believer in Luke Gaffney and think he can be a .300, 10+ HR, 50+ RBI guy for us and Collin Priest has prodigious power if he can cut down on the swings and misses. If he takes a step forward like Caden Grice did from his sophomore year to his junior year we suddenly have 3-4 guys with 15-20 HR potential.

It’s time to put up or shut up though, junior year is the money making year for Gaffney and Priest, and Dalley can really improve his stock with a big senior year too. I’m excited about the pieces we’ve added for sure.

that part about Rick Franzblau is worth another mention

Not too long ago, I noticed several of our frequent baseball posters criticizing him rather harshly. They were taking issue with his training philosophy, saying he didn't have the team lifting heavily enough, claiming players didn't care for him, and overall blaming him for a perceived lack of improvement in strength on the team.

But from what I understand, Franzblau is well respected within the Olympic strength domain. And evidently, he really impressed Savoie, and it appears he's one of the biggest reasons why Nate chose to come here. So Rick played an essential role in landing one of our best portal targets. He must be doing something right. I felt like that acknowledgement was warranted, especially after some of the slander he has received recently.
