For the past 10 years, Clemson Football has cyclically produced Round 1 NFL DL draft picks.

Fantastic read as usual. I like your writing style. In my opinion, we need to pony up and go all in. Even if it means Dabo breaking his policy on nil and hs players. Because we all know Texas, and maybe others are giving him a ton.
Fwiw, I think we should match it all. No, we can still have a great class. We'll probably be ok on the DL, but to me, it's all about perception. We need BPW to solidify we're DLU and we're not going anywhere.

Respectfully, Dabo has a strategy that I believe is in the best interest of a 17 year old kid. Come, work hard, prove yourself to be a contributor and you WILL get paid.
That’s how the real world works. You don’t get paid on potential. You get paid to produce. If you produce, you have no worries.
Dabo is raising men, not just athletes.
These lessons go a lot further than handing a 17-year old a bag of cash. Not every kid understands that, but the ones who do will thrive beyond football. And I believe that’s Dabo’s #1 goal.

You think we got Amare Adams for free? No.
Also this is exactly how it works in the real world too. Your salary is negotiated before you start the job unless you are making solely commission (which is a small percentage of mostly bad sales jobs).

It's OK for other schools to throw their hats in the ring, but they're in trouble if they threw their reels in the water....

“Clemson’s top commitment”….he hasn’t committed. He isn’t anyone’s commitment.

I truly hope he follows his heart and understands that Dabo cares about he and his family and his long term future and a player and man of GOD. Go Tigers

Y’all beat us for Quin, but I’m very happy he chose Clemson and we gained a 5 star named Richard Wesley right after that. I want this kid at Texas, too, but if not I want him at Clemson. My anxiety lies with Texas A$M because they will spend any amount of money to beat us.

Y’all don’t know the Aggies like I do. You have the coots, but the Aggies are worse because they’ve been cheating since before time. When Bear Bryant was on a plane flying in, he was meeting with alumni to find out which guys would spend the money on buying recruits. It’s a culture thing for them. Dabo has family culture and our Sark has done that as well. We use NIL money, but Aggie is doing that plus still handing out money under the table Even Saban called them out in 2022 for cheating when they landed what was called the best class of all time. More than half of that class quickly hit the portal when they found out how much it sucks over there and how weird the student body is.
They’ve probably got Wright set up already with NIL and have given him a load of money. Some things don’t change.
Alabama brought I loads of talent with Saban and they weren’t exactly honest, either. But, at least Bama has won national titles. Aggie hasn’t won anything since 1939 and if you know college football history, 6 other schools claimed it that season

I still hope we can get him, but Tex AM has been known to flash a lot of money, at least in the past.
