he figures out he can't just throw his fastball by everybody at this level. His stuff is good, the FB and slider play well off each other but he needs to learn another pitch to mix in.

His fastball is his best pitch....his problem last last was location...He's got to develop that secondary stuff and little more and he will be fine.

like he's still trying to blow it past hitters and leaving it over the late too much. He's getting beat with the long ball. Common problem with HS players that have had inferior competition.

Naa he's a better reliever...we need to recruit and or bring in some legit starters. I hate that we're having to rely on him as a starter.

Here is the issue. When your relievers get more innings than the starters, your pitching evaluation is not very good, however it seems CB will pull his starters (even when they are pitching good) after no more than 5 innings or when opposing batters have been twice through the order. I'm wondering if this is a philosophy (to keep them off balance) or a promise to the pitchers during recruiting, if they come here they want be over used? Someone has figured us out and is sharing it with all our new opponents or we just were not very good to begin with.

Wonder if Bakich or the pitching coach knows this ? No one on this team has gotten better as the year has progressed . Total failure to develop anyone or anything from this staff !

you realize that many guys that they were gonna count on got hurt. You realize the guys or the next man up hasn’t stepped up

I really believe next year’s rotation will be Knaak, Moehler, Bell. That allows titsworth to go back to relief or closing, where that heavy fastball is much more effective.
