the effin 'ZZZZZ.' People of Bison nation will tell you plainly they want the 'Z,' included in the pronunciation of their mascot. A man can be named Jessy Smellit from birth and if he wants it pronounced Jussie Som let' that's how I say it.

It's about respect. The fact of the matter is Jessy Smellit, bison and Clemson are not subject of regional accents. Two are proper names which should be pronounced according as those identified by the name. Bison is a common word for a particular animal species but a group identity is tied to it even though no buffalo ever complained about having his species mispronounced.

Bison the animal is pronounced bison, no 'z.' Tom Clemson would brit a schick if someone put a 'z,' in his name.

Who give a ratstwat what Jessy Smellit thinks? It's about respect not regional accent.

So anyone who pronounces a fake 'z,' in Clemson will feel my wraff!
