Tiger football/NFL trivia....a buddy asked me yesterday

after Dawk, who had the longest NFL career of any former Tiger? I think it was Jeff Bryant, who played 13 years, all with Seattle, as a starting DL. In my opinion, i think that #99 is the best all around DL i've ever seen with a Paw on his helmet. Played all 4 DL positions and seemed to be on the ball every play...he saved the NC in '81 with the most heads up play in Clemson history on the lateral recovery against the Holes...he was an absolute beast, and virtually forgotten by most Clemson folks. I don't know what the answer is but some young computer savvy genius on here can probably come up with the answer...i have some $$$ riding on this so any help is good. I think i might be right.

Harvey White played a long time in the NFL mostly if not all the years with the Cowboys.

Waters is the player I had in mind when I posted White. Memory goes when you get old.

I think that you could make the argument that Dawk was our best NFL player with Bryant, Bostic, Gardocki, Waters, MD Perry all in the discussion as well historically. Bennie Cunningham was a good TE but didn't play but about 8 years or so, i think. I think that Bryant is forgotten by a lot of Tiger fans because he spent his entire 13 year career up in Seattle before they were ever on TV nationally for the most part. He was a hell of a player for us and in the NFL. Seahawk fans love him. I saw him raise the 12th man flag last year up there and they went ballistic.

of Dallas. Candlestick has a gold star in the endzone where he came down with the ball. He's in their Ring of Honor and is a hero up there in SF.

i also remember Clark running downfield blocking like a madman in that number 30 tearaway jersey playing more like a tight end than a WR in that offense we ran back then. Bill Walsh was at Clemson looking at Fuller and Fuller had Clark come out and catch passes for his workout. Walsh remembered Clark and snagged him as a free agent after the draft and the rest is history.

Maybe somebody else came up with this already but Chris Gardocki played from 1991 to 2006.

Great resource. Missing some info but way more complete than anything else I've found.
Gardocki and Dawkins played over 16 seasons but Gardocki in most games. Trevor Pryce 14 seasons. Terry Allen played 12 seasons but is much further down the games played list.
