Just none of our good pitchers pitched today. Give me Knaak,Titsworth and very possibly get Darbin back for regional play. That rotation is absolutely good enough add in Garris and Mahlstedt. We could win a super regional

We aren’t consistent enough to win a regional. We can even be sure we won’t get run-ruled a time or two in the NCAAs.

If we lose one of the first 2 games in the regional it will be a tough hill to climb… we don’t have the pitching to play 4-5 games in 3 days. Garris is done for the year… Darden even if he is back won’t be able to throw that many innings since he’s been out 2 months.

I wouldn’t think Garris is done for the year.
Back should be fine for regionals.

We just know that we need to avoid getting all the way to a 4th or 5th game in the regional

And assuming we get past a regional, a super is only 3 games. So that works fine.


Then of course Omaha, which if we make Omaha I will be ecstatic. But we have to avoid playing elimination games.

Easier done than said.


I agree though, we’ve got all the pieces.

UNC just caught us when we were down to Dvorsky and Lee.
