Even with better rules being worked out (allegedly), just seems so objective and petty for a bunch of guys in tight fitting pants that used to chew long leaf and now just pop their Bubble-Yums.

Seems like baseball umps, and even basketball refs, have a lot of baggage. Help me understand Tnet TMates!

Seems like the catcher lowered his glove too soon looking for the ball while the ump overreacted, took it as a slight, and ejected him.

The ump already had a complex from the previous pitch. Was that ball called on the non-pitch because the pitch clock expired? If I were the ump, my reaction would have been, "oops."
This pitch clock will be a disaster.
