We won. No need to fight with each other after a 17 point win.
Positives:
Brown - he's amazing. He's our best WR as a freshman.
Pass blocking - pretty good all day especially with all the passing.
Blitzing - good to see Wes dial up the pressure. I am pretty sure that Dabo had a hand in that!
Cade scrambles and scramble/passing - he looks down field and did a great job pulling it down and running for the first down. His throwing on the run is AMAZING!
Challenges:
Run blocking is not good overall. On a pull with Mafa on one play it was great; otherwise, awful. Our interior line can't move anyone an inch.
Cade should have throw two pick-sixes. We might have lost this game if not for DBs dropping what I counted 2 sure pick-sixes, and one possible pick-six!

But definitely plenty to be happy about too. Hopefully we can all enjoy the W, & turn our attention to homecoming against Wake to get another 1 & get to bye week with some momentum.

Just glad we saw the Return of the deep ball as well!!! Tyler Brown is the piece this offense has been missing & now we’re able to attack by going over the top & that threat has completely opened this offense since week 1

I agree. I’m going to have to adjust my expectations with this offense. I am more of a slow and steady wins the race kind of guy. Give me 3-4 positive yards each play and grind it out. This offense is more geared to big plays so there will also be more negative or no gain plays. We got into 2nd and 3rd and 10-12 to go and then got the first down a lot today. It’s a risk/reward game. Might give me a heart attack but it worked today. Love the defense. Got the sacks and defensive pressure I’ve been expecting today. Tackling was a little scary at times but overall the defense was great! Go Tigers!

This has been driving me crazy, but we'll have to live with it as long as the first downs keep coming.

If this is who we are, I’ll be rooting for it! Maybe we can get more first downs on second down so we don’t have the stress of 3rd and long.

And yes, I think we need to roll Cade out of the pocket as a regular thing.

And I agree with you here.
Lot of positive things today. Less negative things but still improvement can be made.
Cade did get sloppy on a couple drives in 2nd half and was fortunate a couple passes weren’t picked. But they weren’t and some fortune finally smiled on the Tigers!
The fumble by Jake was bad, only turnover but it was at a time when Clemson had chance to put the finishing touch on Syracuse. Tigers were able to come up clutch and secure the W, but ball security stilll is work in progress.
Defense, IMO, has been the best of the groups. Dline came up big today. Great pressure, no escapes by Schaefer, running backs had nowhere to go. LBs had moments of greatness and some less than stellar play but overall very good.
Special teams were good outside FGs yet again. I did like the 2nd half FG and the last XP, both struck nicely and end over end snd not tumbling 👍

Agree about the FG’s as they were right down the middle which is good to see… hopefully Weitz has settled in & his accuracy continues to improve
