Thread view in the hierarchy forums (i.e. General, Tiger Boards, etc...)
What if there was some indicator to which sub it belongs in the thread view before clicking?
Example could be seeing a thread where OP says something generic, like "4 star commits", so you click (thinking football, or maybe even vice versa), only to see someone mentioning a baseball commit. This is a bad example for fans really as we click that link any day. But, you get my gist?
There was a post in Tiger Boards mentioning Wiggins. Just Wiggins. Could be Basketball, Football, or NFL sub.
What if there was a way to incorporate the newer icons used on the front page for upcoming games? They show the correct support, right? So, instead of the small red circle for unread (and gray for read) use the sport icon... still represent read or unread the same way?

Not sure how you'd handle icons for the general board subs though....

Well, nevermind. This goes against your marketing protocol I'd presume. More clicks equal more money, so why take away an extra click...

People can use the board filter box if they don't want to see a certain board. We have enough things to click where we don't need to design around more clicks.

I get that.... Wasn't poking, I promise. Just thinking it wouldn't benefit overall.
Keeping the filter in mind, I use that function also. But in tiger boards I filter down to at least include football, basketball, and baseball. And there again, that could still see potential ambiguous subject lines. Still, it was just a thought.
