Statement then a question. I have always pulled for Ga Tech

vs Georgia, Auburn vs Alabama, NC St vs UNC, Va Tech vs UVA, etc. reason being is that I think that over the years they have been at a disadvantage in that they are technical, and some land grant, schools vs that state’s university. The schools I pull for do not have law schools. Their in-state rivals do. A good percentage of all state legislators are attorneys...guess where they got their degree...guess which school gets the most favorable funding, etc.
That being said, how is it that Tex A&M is considered the wealthiest Power Five school vs Texas? Just asking.

Yes. Oil money and ranchers with thousands and thousands of acres of beef cattle. A lb. of steak is over 4 times a gallon of gas these days.

unfortunately the rancher is not getting the same price you pay for a steak. Today's price for beef on the hoof is $170 per hundred on 4-5 hundred pound calves.. less the heavier the cow is.... Ranchers are not funding Texas AM. Oil and corporations are.

That is true about beef prices on the hoof. Beef cattle raised in Texas, generates approx $20 billion a year to ranchers and varies year to year. That doesn't include the other Ag Business. I would hope that some of the Ag Business $s in SC makes it back to Clemson.

So you think Texas is loaded with wealthy ranchers?

You've got to be kidding! No matter what food product you purchase in the store, be it beef, milk, fruits and vegetables...whatever...the farmers and ranchers have the biggest share of the expense in putting it on your table, but yet get the smallest share of what you pay...less than the processor, the shippers or the grocer!

Easy, alumni with $$$. By the way, Georgia Tech is not a tech school but a highly rated national school but absolutely pull for The Wreck against the Dogs.

Pulling for GT is what it is. Do you do that because Dabo has had success against them and you feel sorrow for them? I enjoy going to games when we play there as it is an easy trip, and I have always been treated OK.
The record is GT 50 and Tigers 34. In many ways this is a bigger rival than USuCk.

Not addressing your question … I love Georgia Tech and Texas A&M.
Those two have the classiest mascots in all of college football. Not to your point, … I’m just saying.
