I thought SC opened as an 11 point favorite. I think Ga State covers that.

Sounds pretty generous to me. I've seen them lose to similar teams in the past. Their history is not very rich.

Tough first game. Georgia St finished last year on a high and win streak. Gonna be cheering for some Panthers again finally.

again Troy, East Carolina, and Vandy last year. I still maintain they'll struggle to win five games this year.
They are staring straight down the barrel at five sure losses against Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Texas A&M and Clemson, which means, they'll have to win all seven of their remaining games to finish above .500 and I just don't see that happening. The Florida and Tennessee games are toss-up games for them at best.

and their defense won't be much better, if any. The defense is slow, they take bad angles to the ball, and they tackle poorly.
Rattler certainly won't have the supporting cast around him that he had at OU before getting benched.

Shawn Elliot was the interim coach at USuk after The Old Ball Sac called it quits in the middle of the 2015 season, defeating mighty SEC foe Vanderbilt in his first game as Head Coach, and then losing five straight to end the season.
Spurrier saw what was on the horizon, and wasn't about to hang around while Clemson smoked him again. He had already seen DW4 end their five bomb streak the year before, and knew it was only going to get uglier as time went on.
