So what's going on with Bo Baldwin, South Aiken QB?

Predictions were all for him heading to USuC. But recently the analysts started switching him to Clemson.
So what happened? Did he visit? Did we offer? Is he an actual QB recruit or does his size put him at another position?

like to think I'd go with Clemson too, it would be hard to justify choosing to pay to go to school when the opportunity for a scholarship is right there.

When a player Greyshirts he has to pay for school on his own until a scholarship comes open. He may never receive a scholarship.

I am from the same area as him, and have seen him play before. He is mediocre at best. He would be a preferred walk-on at Clemson. USuC offered him a greyshirt then after that gave a QB from FL a scholarship. Word around here is he would rather walk-on at Clemson right now, but that was before SC coaches came to his HS this week. I guess since the crystal ball is still trending towards Clemson that he still would walk-on at Clemson and not go to to USuC since they went and offered a QB when they told him they had no more room for him this year, so he would have to greyshirt then they offered that QB.

Not at all surprised that Balzac would offer a kid a chance to walk on and then shot it down after offering a better liked prospect after the fact. I guess his ethics need adjustments. Oh wait , I forgot I was talkingabout Steve Spurrier and the SEC when I mentioned "ethics".

Saw him play several times over his HS career...

When he is healthy, he can through straight and hard. Problem is he had NO receivers, none, at South Aiken. Very poor coaching too. The kid had too many things going against him. Sure would liked to have seen what he could have done under different circumstances. May be a real sleeper recruit, but who knows. And he loves Clemson.
