So if Texas/OSU is on Fox, that rules them out for Gameday.

Our other competition is Bama/FSU, but using the current ESPN early preseason ranking, that would be a 12. Alabama versus an unranked FSU. Where as, our game would be a 7. Clemson versus 8. LSU. The sentimental pick for Corso is FSU due to his coaching time there. The better match up nationally is right here in Death Valley.

GameDay is an ESPN ABC product. Fox is a competitor.***

GameDay has gone to a Fox game before.

on Fox as it’s at OSU. Gameday is its own show unrelated to whether the game is on ESPN/ABC or not. That may be 1 vs 2 with arguably the SECs biggest program involved. It’s a 3 horse race for gameday. If Corso wasn’t retiring it would be a 2 horse race between Clemson and Columbus.

Why would FSU be sentimental to Corso? He was at Indiana before that and Louisville before IU. His first head coaching job Louisville makes more sense to me.

I may be in the minority and tip of the cap to Lee Corso for a great career, but I don't want Gameday in Clemson. I don't care for what the show has become or ESPN. Just my 2 cents.

You have to keep in mind it’s Corso’s last game. FSU is his Alma mater. That carry’s weight!

Our game will get plenty of attention either way. And - since we get the night game in the valley, there a going to be plenty of attention for recruits and the national media. I say let GAMEDAY go to FSU and let the Clemson natives sleep in that morning. We need the juice in the evening and not be wasted at 10am on Bowman!!
