Remarkably, at one time many years ago, the LDS was one of the biggest stockholders in Pepsico. They might not have drunk it, but they weren't averse to making money off it.

The church decided to invest in Coca-Cola so it is OK for them to drink Coke now. I visited out there and they were giving 12 packs of Coke away for things like test driving a car, visiting a store, etc.
