Funny watching the kid commit, seems like a good/solid kid...makes you wonder what kind of BS kool-aid the awkward lil man is selling over there. Although it is a tad sad because you realize these poor kids have zero idea what a ######## USuC is, and that they'll always be below average at best.

Don't know why all the focus is on USuC. Their recruiting is better but they certainly did not out recruit us which is what they think.

I get the impression that a lot of the posters on here get extra fired up because they work with South Carolina fans and hear them talking all this up.
I also think we got used to seeing South Carolina buried behind us. We had a great run where we were competing for and winning national titles while South Carolina was struggling to even have a winning record. It gets easy to think things will continue that way including South Carolina constantly struggling to win 5 or 6 games per year. As much as we hate them though, it's unrealistic to think that they'll never get any good players or that they'll never have good seasons every so often at least. Even when they were having losing seasons they still managed to land several 4 star recruits along with the occasional 5 star player. They have a huge fanbase, a strong desire to win, and a lot of SEC money so it's unrealistic to completely rule them out from at least being a thorn in our sides.
So I think the panic from some on here is just a combination of seeing us slip a bit over the last 2 years and seeing South Carolina show signs of life for the first time in several years. People just tend to overreact which is what we're seeing a lot of on here.

I think he's actually listed as an athlete, and I've seen talk of them using him in a hybrid role between WR, TE, and RB, but with his size and speed one would imagine WR as being his primary position.
