I mean, I get the envy that millionaire coaches garner and I get the players are looking for a piece of the pie, but
"The bill would also strip power from the NCAA and create the American College Sports Association (ACSA), a new federal body that would oversee college sports. This agency would be led by a commissioner appointed by the President Trump and confirmed by the U.S. Senate."
and
"Transfer rules would be lifted, giving players the same freedom coaches have long enjoyed."
Seem like horrible, horrible ideas.

This bill was proposed by a congressman out of Washington State. It will go nowhere. But don’t let that stop you from blaming this on Trump.

Left wing loons will blame a rainy day on Trump. They are in their own little fantasy world. Now as to that bill? It is insanity and hopefully go nowhere. And it will face all kinds of court cases if it does.

it’ll never get voted on, would never pass both bodies, probably never get to comittee, and definitely never ever hold up in court. This bill illustrates that the author has zero understanding on our legal system.
Consider this; if the federal government can tell schools (many of which are private) that it can restrict the compensation of their head coaches, why can’t it also restrict the pay of CEOs. See if that has any legs.
