The issues with Abbott isn't Bidens fault but the fact that he took so long to do something about it is all on him.
A competent administration would have seen the shortage coming.

How much Baby Formula has been taken up by LGBTQ men 'breast feeding' babies?
Most "real" mothers have the option to choose Formula or Momma's milk.
Just sayin'

Godamighty, Bermie Bro, I quit replying to your idiotic, redundant posts months ago, but here I am, sucked back in, wondering if you ever, maybe just once, post anything that doesn't end with a question mark.
Do you???????
If not, why not??????
Did you get the question??????
Should I wait??????

I'm just asking a simple question. Am I wrong in that it appears you and your ilk are blaming the government for not getting involved in what you guys say Capitalism is suppose to takes care of? Ya know, "something something something free market principles", or "something something something goverment interference". I'll await the incoming tap dance and/or ad hominem.

In a highly regulated environment like that which oversees formula production. It's not capitalism that created four US companies to produce the overwhelming majority of baby formula.

Government regulations did.
Supply is located outside our borders. Regulations were keeping it from being sold here.

I can remember before the Senate voted 89-10 and the DEMOCRAT controlled House voted 385-41 in favor of USMCA.
That the same bill right?

I'm sorry to say that the effect of blaming the White House for the formula shortage is wearing off. ??

They took that says the White House controls the supply and demand of basic goods like baby formula because I don't remember this being addressed back when I took it in high school.
EDIT: Oh, except, you know, with things like USMCA free trade agreement enacted by the Trump administration as 19B pointed out.

label freely and often, turn around and blame the federal government when a private company has a manufacturing issue which causes a supply issue.
And don't get me wrong, I think the admin should have taken action earlier and seen this coming, but I also understand they don't run all free markets, nor should they.

formula from Europe (which wouldn't be work but for a Trump policy), they should continue to allow contaminated formula to be sold until that new formula "source" is in place? I mean...what?

So if you’re going to make a report like that which causes a shutdown of one of two major suppliers, you can likely expect that 40-50% of output will be diminished, no? Therefore an immediate backup plan is warranted…not 4 months later, well after the fact and reactively. We’ve seen the same on other issues too such as Omicron and testing.
I agree with you here.
I don't really think either president should get much blame here (hell, Congress passed that law). Biden's admin hasn't been good in this situation but there are a lot of things they can't control. And do we really want to rely on them to fix it?

post and completely skip over this part:
"And don't get me wrong, I think the admin should have taken action earlier and seen this coming, but I also understand they don't run all free markets, nor should they."
It's weird, in the last couple of years when there has been no available supply of all kind of items, I've never once thought to blame Trump or Biden.
