Well, the idea of using it to make toothpaste obviously didn’t pan out but Clemson packing department of engineers (ME) have a program now where they will be researching the feasibility of making sustainable food packaging from biopolymers, such as the cellulose in Kudzu.

I can't remember the source, but I remember reading/listening to a story about Howard Morris, the actor that played Ernest T Bass on Andy Griffith. He was picked up in a limo from the Gboro airport and given a ride to some event in Mayberry aka Mount Airy. Well the limo driver said the only words he spoke the whole ride was when passing by a stand of the infamous ivy. Morris would say in his southern draw, "Kuuuuudzo. Kuuuuuudzo". He didn't say another word the whole trip but that, whenever they passed it by. To me, it sounds exactly like something Bass would say in an episode... Before throwing a rock through your window 😂
