A good scheme and QB will make receivers look great. Don’t have a chance to show their full potential if they aren’t given opportunities to catch the ball downfield

Yes if the freshmen have more speed than those we have had the last couple of years. Speed kills.

Especially 90 mph ducks. I know DJ was slow and inaccurate, but he has arguably the strongest arm in college football when it comes to pure velocity. It’s wild that it actually hurt him as a QB

If our guys don't learn how to find some separation, it won't matter who is throwing to them. Learning how to separate comes with good technique and good technique comes from good coaching. I don't know that we have the right guy coaching these guys to develop as they need to.

Hopefully, Riley can scheme differently and help with some of this by getting them in better positions and also not being so obvious in the play-calling.
