Questions about iptay

I been thinking about joining Iptay , I know depending on the level you spend you get different benefits. But I was wandering how football tickets work. Do you get Early tickets before the general public or are you still racing against the scalpers . Thanks for any info. You can give .

I’m fairly new to IPTAY myself but you can purchase season tickets through IPTAY. Most lower level seats are taken so you won’t get that but there are upper deck options. You do get first access to single game tickets before it’s released to the general public. Im not a high IPTAY donor by no means (I’m orange level) and it’s worth it. Just snagging postseason baseball tickets for $60 was worth it. Hope this helps some.

I have had season tickets but as the costs rose and seat equity came in we decided to drop season football tickets, reduce our donation and remain members in order to get access to baseball and basketball single game tickets and football away game and postseason tickets before the masses. It has worked well for us, we got regional and super regional tickets and get decent single game basketball tickets. Occasionally you can get lower level single game football tickets when teams return their allotments. Football season tickets and single game tickets preseason are pretty much all uppers.

We have been members since the mid 90's and IPTAY is not the friendly, helpful organization it once was and really tends to have a lot of bugs in their technology which sometimes knock eligible donors out of ticket opportunities and their customer service (IPTAY and ticket office) is very poor at times. The technology is improving and they are actually gaining on other schools which were way ahead of them including VT and WF.

All in all it is well worth the lower level donations to get the basic benefits.

Thanks I may try it out definitely interested in the single game tickets not so much season tickets I’m tired of paying scalpers over ticket price 🤦🏻‍♂️
