I imagine Ciufo sticks at short since he played there last year and Paino moves to third, but other than that this seems about what I was expecting. Priest and Gaffney have really legitimate pop and I can't wait to see Listi, Cannarella, Gaffney, Priest, and Bissetta in some order terrorizing the ACC.

The only way is if paino just isn’t cutting it at 3B…. Ciufo may be the more versatile player. He’s just so elite at SS I would like to see that work

Is this the year the Tigers break through ??
After the last 2 seasons ending, very dramatic and soul-taking, defeats.... can this team turn that around and get to the next level ??
Purify is big, he needs to cut down on his strikeouts and get more contact. I see a lot of greatness in him if he can put it all together. Possible .300 hitter with 15+ homers and some speed on the bases if he can find ways on base.
Go Tigers!!

Can't thank you enough for posting this. I think we'll see some surprises this spring practice. A little surprised no mention of Samol. I think he seriously competes for a weekend slot. Maybe Sunday to get his pitch cnt and I'm really shocked at no mention in newcomers of Talan Bell. He's got some stuff. I look for both to get into the mix.
Agree, will miss Blake and I love me some Jimmy but I honestly think Jarrell is the better catcher... especially with another year under him. Hopefully his bat gets hot too. Think we'll see McCladdie too.
Bisetta had a great summer. Play Ball. Ready!!!

I'm really excited about the pitching. I don't think Dane will have a huge learning curve but we have a lot of experience in the pen. So if he can give us 4 or 5 innings to start, I think we'll see him as a Sunday starter. Shocked D1 posts above didn't mention Samol... unless I'm missing something guys???
And I'm a big fan of Bell and Fitzgerald. Imo, this is coach B's deepest arm talent he's had but, except for Darden and knaak, who knows. Can't wait to find out.

Moehler has really good stuff and really good off speed. He's mentally tough and dad played in the MLB so he has that to lean on and learn from which he has. Dane has A LOT left in him. They developed him slowly unlike most other kids and he never pushed for velo. Would not surprise me at all to see him get up to 95+ in a year

Appreciate the update on Bell. For some reason I was thinking he was past rehab and doing light duty in the fall.
Like Christmas to a kid waiting on first pitch. Been counting down ever since the fla supers. One never knows what will happen but I truly believe we're back to Omaha this year. Just excited to see Noah finally pitch. Thanks again. Please post as much as you can. Baseball news is thin.

Any thoughts on McCladdie from Harlem GA or Lameul Lackey from Evans, GA? They are from my local area but havent heard much about them. I know Lackey did some pinch running last year.

As I mentioned above, I think McCladdie takes a big step and sees a lot of innings. I'm excited to see Lackey. Definitely raw at the plate last year, but I'm hoping he steps up this season, and sees the lineup even if just mid-week games.
