It seems like this combination requires a coaching staff to recruit the high school kids for the current class and now re-recruit every player that you have on scholarship.
It also opens the possibility for coaches without integrity to contact players on other teams and recruit them to enter the portal (Demarcus Bowman?)
Also, if you lose a coach, you don't just lose the coach but potentially every player that he has built a relationship with. Is this why Dabo says college football isn't in a good place right now?
I'm afraid it is only going to get worse. I hope I'm wrong.
