So, EA Sports believes that #7 ranked Clemson and #10 ranked LSWho will open their new FB season on 8/30/2025. The truth is that the LSWho Tigers who's stadium was once called Deaf Valley until they've tried stealing the name Death Valley from Clemson.

Clemson's Memorial Stadium began being called Death Valley in the late 1940s and early 1950s, after Presbyterian College coach Lonnie McMillan famously described the stadium as such. He used the nickname to describe the difficulty his teams faced when playing there. Head coach Frank Howard later embraced the nickname in the 1950s when speaking to the media and at IPTAY meetings.

I am not a believer in these preseason rankings. This one seems ok. Then you see the Coots in the Top 25 and you're like...No. Their defense will not be solid. Everyone has seen the Sellars show once , he isn't a Heisman candidate type of player and Beamer won't be surprising anyone with his ability in 2025-26. Coots are a 7-6 type team , not a Top 25.
