Now what if TCU gets blown out?

That would kick out both USC and TCU. Ohio State is in. Would we get in vs a 2 loss Alabama without a conference championship? Or are we done for?

First of all K St is entirely capable of beating TCU…by how much I don’t know.
Second, the CFP committee has spoken extensively since the CFP has existed about the importance of winning a conference championship.
So if TCU loses and Clemson wins, I don’t see how they could put 2 non-conf champions in.

I’m just pulling for complete chaos and UGA, TCU, and Michigan all lose. Never gonna happen but I’d love to see how they justify those selections. Would they pick zero conference champs? How glorious that would be…

Utah was conf champ tonight with 3 losses and they looked better than 99% of the teams I’ve seen this year.

Yep. We’d see then how much they really “value” conference championships lol.

They would have no choice but go with four one loss non champions. They would not fall below Ohio state cause they were number 5. If top three lossed, I say the rankings stay the same , Ohio state gets fourth spot

Ohio State and Alabama back into the playoffs.
Tennessee and Clemson would be the first 2 teams out in that scenario.

If Cade came in and completely changed the offense within 1 game, I say they look at us differently.

Against the Coots yes. Wetting that bed with DJ sealed our fate in not going to the CFP.

I just don't see a scenario where we get in at this point even if we throttle & shutout UNC (unlikely) and everyone else loses their conference championship games. If we wouldn't have lost to the coots we are probably sneaking our way in if we win the ACCCG.

Get ready for 2 B1G and 2 SEC teams in. Will be the biggest yawn of a playoff yet and no one outside of those two conferences will care.

I don't think we're getting in no matter what happens. If UGA, TCU, and Michigan all get blown out. We're not getting in. Alabama will go in your scenario.
