NIL is the most brilliant move ever made by the NCAA

Sep 20, 2021, 3:12 PM

to improve parity between programs. Now, a team, that is not comprised mostly of overpaid spokespeople, and whose endorsement schedules do not leave much time for football and mental preparation, are at a supreme disadvantage to programs that do not have to worry about Millionaires roaming their campus. TEAMS who can focus on football, and FOOTBALL ONLY will be better prepared and less distracted on Saturdays. Look no further than the South Carolina Gamecocks, who do not have a single good player on their roster, but still managed to score more points on UGA than any other program this year. I imagine we will witness more upsets like this in the future, as so far that was the biggest moral victory of the season.

Thanks, NIL, thanks NCAA.

The Beamer presser was hilarious. Looked like a pretween melt down on camera. “Like..they had 5 stars…like…everywhere…like they were so big and mean….like….330lbs….and like…could run better than everyone…like 5 stars…like….like….it’s not fair…like”

"Ugh I wish we had less good players"

That's not true...

We want good players, they just all need to be ugly. That way nobody would want them for their spokesperson. :-D

The wake forest recruiting strategy will work best in this new format, fill your roster with dudes that will not be good until their 5th year, and load up on lots of them just in case they want to pursue academics instead.

starting sometime around 2025. Also, they may not be, but not for a lack of strategy

With rosters full of 6th year seniors for conceivably the next 5 years, they should be a force.
