Just another topic that Saban has decided to harp on because he hasn't figured out how to operate at maximum capacity.
He hated the idea of allowing teams to have huge number of analyst on a team b/c of "parity" until he realized he could afford to have as many as he wanted
He hate the idea of hurry up/spread offenses until Watson dropped nearly 1,300 yards on him in two games and he decided to modernize
Now he hates the idea of paying players in a unregulated market because it takes away from his excellence.
Next you'll see him complain about doing away with divisions with in conferences b/c of traditional rivalries before claiming it was the best thing for the conference when he realizes he gets to play USC, Vandy, Kentucky, and Tenn more often.
After that he is going to complain about raising the scholarship limit b/c of parity before realizing he has a blank check to buy more players after figuring out how to milk NIL for its advantages.
