Darn. It was close. Tough sledding now. We must bring our A game in the singles. But, we knew it'd be tough. Proud of the guys. Kinda get the feeling we're right there. Just needed a little extra.

Not looking too good. Still time but... anyway, it was a great season. I can't wait to hear what you think about next year. Please keep us posted. I guess it's just like all the sports, wait to see who transfers, who stays etc. When will we know what class rank we have coming in.

Him a chance to serve it out at 6-5 and I think Eddy was gonna win at 6.

Amazing effort to put it within points of winning when it looked like a straight forward Columbia win after they won 5 first sets

Yes Sir. Hence my post above when it didn't look good. But to come back and not only win a couple sets... but as you said, mere points away from winning. Same with the doubles. Razor thin. Definitely is encouraging that we're not that far away from competing with the top 10. Hopefully we'll see more fans next year. Dang. Still an entertaining afternoon.

And the great team chemistry. As far as your question for next year, we only lose 1 starter in Max Smith. Of course the tennis transfer portal opens on Monday and you can never be too sure these days.

I don’t know of any incoming players yet but with the upward trajectory after this good season we should be an attractive destination for any transfers also.

Markov ended the season really well and when you watch him in person you can see the talent. His shots have more speed and bite than several of the other big hitters in the college game, especially the forehand. He just needs to get more solid. I could see him taking over the #1 mantel next year and being a national top 50 player.
