look on his face the first time he saw real facilities, and how humbled he was by the experience. The kid was all smiles, no more ice baths in buckets at SE Missouri State, it is state-of-the-art equipment and attention from a world-class training staff. You could just see this kid glowing at interviews; he had finally arrived, and was eating lobster.

I have not seen any interviews with Ian Schieffelin yet, but I imagine it is a similar situation, like winning the lottery or getting married to a wealthy supermodel. I am pretty sure the kid is grinning from ear to ear now that he has hit the big time as well.

I think Ian will find Dabo and Brad have a lot in common except

for charisma, overall likability, recruiting prowess, player development, sending more athletes to the pros, conference championships, final fours, national championships and just plain being a lot more successful at coaching. I think it will be a really smooth transition for him.

finally had to shut up and find something else to complain about (NIL, $11 mil, F&F, nepo, S&C, player development) and find other reasons to blame Dabo for not winning the national championship every year.
