Most Important Position Battle

What you do feel is the most important position battle this spring?

For me, it has to be LT. If Leigh can't win this one outright, my guess is that there will be a whole reshuffling of the OL. If Leigh wins it, we will have 4 returning starters who will be bigger, stronger, more experienced and hopefully playing in an improved system.

I don’t think some people realize how good Blake miller was and how important his immediate role was. Now I know the season was mediocre for Clemson’s standard but the lack of development of Linthicum at C forced Putnam (a guard) to C. We moved Parks ( RT) to Guard. We were able to do all the reshuffling because of Blake Miller. Without him last season, Parks stays at tackle, Putnam still moves to C but then we’re stuck with major problems at RG. The interior development to me is the biggest key. There are ways to mask Tackle issues but if the interior isn’t getting it done then……..

I'm just as concerned about the wide out receiver positions. We've got to get guys healthy. I think slot is in good hands, and TE is thin but good.
Cade has got to have receivers on the boundaries who can fight to make receptions.
