Looking to next week, Duke vs GT.

might be the most interesting game besides our game next week……. Who would have thought both of these teams would be undefeated in ACC play….. Big game to see who is for real…. We need Duke to win big time, so hoping they can…. Then when we play duke, we beat them, it gets us a little closer and likely a tie break over common opponent…. Complicated math here, anyway, Tigers need to focus on SMU, one game at time.. Go Tigers……
What do you all think, can Duke pull it off…..

True, but GA Tech rolls the dice more than any other ACC team by relying so heavily on a run-heavy QB as the dominant factor in their offense. Haynes King takes more shots by far than any other QB in the ACC.
Thus, the chances of a really bad injury are greater for Haynes King than for any of the other ACC QBs. It’s simply a matter of math.
That said, since HK is healthy now and their next game is vs Duke, we can assume that he’ll be at full strength and not likely (in any single ‘next’ game, to suffer a bad injury in that very next game). I’m picking GT to beat Duke.

Agree with lex, anything can happen. Duke can score but their D isn't much with the injuries.
It's been wild but you're starting to see a few separate. Osu schedule got easier. Bama, uga still have talent. Most have scary close games but find ways to win. Looking like ND is finding rhythm.
Don't start the smu is good mess. They're not. Should be another cakewalk. They might score a few more points than unc or bc, but we will score on nearly every possession. 38-17 easy win.

Good take. I expected SMU to be tougher but their D is definitely challenged.

I don't care if they are good or not. Only thing that matters is that they have a ranking in front of their name. Tigers need to get some street cred back. FSU has crapped the bed, so they aren't gonna give us any. SMU/ Duke if they can keep winning. Then the Tigers face a program altering game in Columbia to end the season. This year's game is a MUST win. There is no other option!

Duke is actually the favorite next week. Had the week off to get some guys healthy. LINK:

Has Kevin Jennings completely healed from his leg injury?

He got dinged up and was endeavoring to limit his scrambling in their game vs Baylor. Supposedly Sonny Dykes was discouraging Jennings from scrambling except for really big moments in hopes of preventing further impairment via taking too many hits.
Look, against us K.Jennings will scramble as much as he needs to on every snap. We are a conference opponent, which is when no punches are held.
My question is whether he is a bit less mobile, such as was the case with FSU’s Jordan Travis during the 2023 season.

We will see what happens but I think GT has the easiest schedule of most ACC teams this year.
Don't see them beating Miami if they meet in the ACCCG.
After this year GT will most likely fall back dramatically. It takes a lot to sustain winning year after year. Plus, Haines King doesn't have a 10th year of eligibility (haha)
Looking for the Tiger to finish on the upside. Sometimes it's not how you start but it's how you finish.
GO TIGERS
