I have been extremely impressed with Gorden. And also Darden and Grice as well obviously.

But Austen has really been the Friday night the whole year. He has just gone silently about his business. Does not get too high or low ever. And it’s also something I think Bellanger emphasizes. It’s a given that all pitchers need to stay calm, but it’s so apparent in our staff. And confidence.

But this will be a big stage for Gorden and our guys. People say it’s no different than playing our normal baseball, but look what happened to Tennessee last year. You’ll understand. I’m interested to see how our players handle this season ending pressure.

Lots of young guys that want to prove themselves.
