Last time a team had 10 losses

Saw a post today will all fbs college football teams and the last time they had 10 losses in a season.
2024 - FSU and 2 others
1999 - Coots 😝😝
Never - Clemson and many others.

…when Red Parker led (??) the Tigers to a fabulous 2-9 record. In a way it made all the years since that much sweeter.

So long ago - no upper deck on either side, no video board, just cyclone fencing at the top row to keep you from going over the edge. Still one of the best years of my life, though they eventually got a LOT better on the football front.

I attended every miserable home game that year. Despite the 2-9 record, Clemson led the ACC in attendance iirc, a testament to the loyalty of our fan base.

uscjr is a top 10 program

10th Longest losing streak in FCS

21 games 1998 - 2000 tied with the power houses of Ball St, Kent St, and New Mexico

Well, somewhat misleading since teams didn't play many games for a long time. Then 10 games and finally 11 in 1970. Plus you could have a decent year and not make a bowl.

That's why I hate comparisons. Just like Dabo bragging about 10 win season. Look at our records before, had we played 12 to 13 games b4 a bowl, we'd have many many more 10 win seasons.

Same with Brad and acc records. Many more games.
