Maryland: Kevin Steele is reportedly finalizing a deal to join Mike Locksley's staff as defensive coordinator. Gunter Brewer is reportedly joining the staff.

so Kevin Steele should be well-learned.

Living in Texas, I remember him most vividly for flaming out as Baylor HC. What a complete disaster!
He was bad enough as DC at Clemson.

he actually started out as a pretty good d coordinator. They didnt call it the steele curtain for nothing. He was just slow at figuring out how offense evolved into the rpo. He will probably do a fine job at maryland.

Met him at Edisto this summer a buddy of mine was working on the new place he bought their on the Neck. Nice guy, said he was going to have to get another job this year to pay for all the renovations the wife had come up with.. Ha. Guess he found his gig..
