The TE explanation of the goal-line play is one of the worst, as most things I hear him say.

If I'm not mistaken, we were at about the 2 and a half yard line. You go under center, take the snap move forward in the pile, or kneel. Game over. They had NO timeouts! And no, you don't need to be a football "expert" to see this, as some opine. Not any more than you have to be a great actor to see bad acting or a bad movie.

Also, "news flash" for TE: defenses are going to "surprise" you with different looks and disguises, this has been going on since football was invented.
