As of Sunday March 19 and what the current state of the Baseball team for 2023 looks like I see a good bit of hovering around the .500 overall mark all season long.Things could change drastically and if they do it will have been one of the most astounding turn arounds not just in Baseball but in Clemson Athletics history done by Eric Bakich and his coaching staff should they get this team to a Regional

It has been a long drought since we last won a Regional and made it to Omaha in 2010. The national and conference competition has simply been better the last few years and it is harder to win.

have no movement. And if pitches have no movement when they get to the plate, they WILL have a lot of movement exiting the ballpark.
We need to find a forkball guru, and get him teaching these guys the split. Or a nasty curve, or SOMETHING that does not travel on a straight line from Point A to Point B.
Also, locating the ball within the strike zone would be nice, as well.
I am an expert, after all, I did pitch in Little League, in the sixth grade. So, I didn't even HAVE to stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Spot on. Not sure what they're seeing in the pen but they should pick up whether or not when warming up if they got any stuff. Ty has good movement, just not sure why he can't take it from the pen to the field. Same with Barlow.
A little surprised he didn't leave Clayton in for another inning. Also, not sure what's up with Weiss. Don't understand why he can only pitch to one batter or one inning.
Anyway, some questionable decisions imo were made by coach/coaches on pitching and hitting. And bases.
Doesn't help when your power guy Wright is in a 1 for 29 slump. You take his numbers since the opening series and they're worse than Bertram.

In the 3 series losses, competition had 24 HRs, we had 3. This team is small and has no power!
