shouldn't international maritime law hold sway?
I ask that question to ask this one.
Six years ago the RFS tigerking79 vanished from the horizon, all hands presumed lost, including her captain and was welcomed with open arms into the abyss of Davey Jones' Locker - never to be heard from again.
And there was much rejoicing.
Six years of relative peace & harmony was shattered the other day when her captain unfurled the new colours atop the RFS tigersrule79® and began anew her attempts of depredation & plunder on the Tigernet faithful. No good can come of this...
Because you can't hide or fix stupid, it has its own DNA, tigersrule79 was quickly unmasked, but immediately disavowed and distanced herself from any knowledge or title of the ship lost 6 years prior, and it is in that repudiation we find the question.
"Finders Keepers" maritime law allows salvors two courses of action: Law of Salvage and Law of Finds. In Law of Finds, the first finder can lay claim to any and all as the new owner, which would include any TMails from tigerking79 anyone, in this case dsp, finds in their inbox.
B-Meist®, does the admiralty law provide the loophole to me re-upping The Most Wondrous Moments In DSQ's Tmail as First Finder I now have full ownership of any and all?
And there will be much rejoicing.
