Keith Adams Jr. just might win the Heisman.
Seriously though, having a badass OL does help the RB situation tremendously.

OL recruiting has been the Achilles heel for Clemson since the late eighties. Good to see us get that monkey off our back and would trade RB recruiting success for it if I'm honest.

A few years back Tom Luginbill said something along the lines of god help college football if Clemson ever starts churning out offensive linemen.

That was a follow-up to a discussion about the recent DLs...***

Yep. If I had to choose between the two, I would take the O Line as well. Can’t run or pass effectively without it.

We had a good run with Hyatt, the kid from Southern Pines, NC that started opposite Hyatt at RT as a true freshman, the kid from Natti, and big John Simpson....

If you can land 2-3 good ones every year on the D line and O line you will be a consistent top 5 team.

I loved the Danny teams for this reason. The game has changed I know but some things have not.

Great O line can make a 3 star running back look like a 5 star.
A bad O line can make a 5 star running back look like a 3 star.

Oh, gee, two national titles and the OL recruiting clearly has sucked since before the days college football even began. Tom Luginbill? Who the fudge is that? Some ESPN blowhole that clearly knows jack squat. Clemson put up 48 points on a team the ESPN geniuses were calling the greatest ever with a true freshman QB You don’t win two national titles with an inferior OL, but nice try. You guys crack me up.
