then would College Gameday be held elsewhere for the start of the season? Or would it still be the Texas vs Ohio State game?

It’s objectively two teams with a bigger draw than either Clemson or LSU.

National it’s a much bigger game.

It was announced a few months back that the first gameday of the 2025 season would be Corso's last game on gameday.

Rematch of playoff matchup last year, plus Arch Manning first year as starter? As if they even considered anywhere else. Its too bad its the same week that we host LSwho because in most cases that would get us gameday. Fowler and Herbsreit will almost certainly be on the call for our game though

Yes , because it's the best matchup of the day. They traditionally go to the weeks most anticipated game that all fans have an interest in knowing the outcome.

That's why Clemson fans thought we had a shot. Our game with LSU is our seasons best game on the schedule.

Alabama is a double digit favorite to beat FSU. So that game likely wasn't seriously considered. The outcome will be determined by halftime and most viewers ( except diehards ) will tune in another game

Lee's first headgear pick was Brutus Buckeye. It will be a full circle moment. It would be funny if SECPN makes him put on Hook'ems head.
