Not get a peach, Cotton or Fiesta bid? With the playoff and 6 NYD bowls, that's 15 from power 5 plus the best mid major.
With Watson playing, we are one of the top 15. There is no limit to conference cap on nyd bowls.

How in the world did you come up with 15? How could any set of bowl games choose an odd # of teams?
There are 6 major bowls now, so 12 teams. Most of them I believe have at least one conference tie-in when they aren't one of the playoff bowls, so really there's only like 2-3 extra spots available after playoff selection and conference affiliations are filled. So to answer your question, no Clemson won't get into one of those games.
But we'll still have a good bowl match up against Oklahoma or an SEC team like Ole Miss.

OK there smart guy....I'll walk you through it.
NYD 6 games - 12 teams 4 teams for the playoff
That's 16. Need me to slow it down more for you?
1 team must come from the non power 5, so that's where 15 comes from...the "odd" number.
So try and answer the question, if you want, and not be some disparaging tool..

I get it with the hope for the Orange Bowl but I think we should embrace a more probable invitation to Orlando. There is no shame in either bowl, Citrus or Russell Athletic. We've had a great year and I am proud of the team but I don't want to consider the Orange Bowl and be disappointed when we don't get it. It's out of our hands either way.
