he was thinking (as he did when South Florida beat him in bowl in Charlotte that this won't happen again so he went out and got an OC in Morris, and fired friend Billy Nap).
Then, after last year's fiasco at Orange Bowl he fired DC and got Venables.
Now, what he's going to do this time I don't know, but I know it will be to help Clemson be a winner. I know Dabo loves Clemson even if he may not be the HC we need at this time..but I do believe he's maturing more & more with his hires & recruiting..BUT he better get it right fast this time.
What do you think he will do this time what with SC's 4-peat beat-down?
GoTiGERs..."Stand Up Under Fire"...get better and win that good bowl you've earned!!

..who hasn't had to tweak his staff in order to improve his team. This is not unique to Clemson or Dabo Swinney.

winning coaches know to always build your defense first. USuC is not an offensive juggernaught, but look at their defense. Look at the defenses at Notre Dame, Alabama, LSU, etc. They are all superb and their teams are all ranked in the top 10 of the BCS. Remember the old adage: "you can win a game with a good offense, but you win championships with a good defense".

gotten worse.
I don't think he makes any other changes, but the biggest thing I'd like to see is change in S&C. I'm not a Batson conspiracy person, but I do think something can be said for "new blood". I think it's a risk worth taking. People can lose their hunger when they've been at the same place for many years.

would be looking. They have shown terrible instinct this year imo. Always waiting back when they should be going to the ball or going for the ball when they should be covering etc. Seem to have good talent, but no instict. Just my opinion.

the kinds of players/talent we need. Having good assistant coaches, etc. is great but only if the talent is there. And we can't just focus on the glamor positions like wide receiver.

punted down by 10?
Then after getting the ball back with 45 sec, he sent Boyd back out for Clowney to slobberknock again?
Was it a light or bewilderment?

on TV I saw him get into Chad's ear looked like he said -do something different, but Chad ignored him. Seems like Chad is determined that we must win by throwing 40 yard passes. and why does he hate the run? Other gripe.in spring please teach our D-backs how to tackle...

for d-backs. Xavier Brewer, Rashard Hall, and Jonathan Meeks are all SENIORS! Even Peter's is a Sophmore. This is not a youth problem, it is a player development problem. Even if they were not very talented, coaching and experience would make them at least competent, and this group has been a dumpster fire this year.

Maybe Dabo will fire all position coaches, recruiting coordinators, Strength and Conditioning coaches and personnel, trainers, team doctors, video crew, public address announcers, equipment managers and Pete Yannity.
Because God knows this isn't Dabo's fault.

You don't have to look at other schools . . just look back at Clemson. We have always been a defensive team. We have had great defenses, leaders among the country year in and year out. Somewhere somehow we lost that . . we just need to get back to what we used to have.

when I felt comfortable when the defense took the field..actually looked forward to it. Now, it's dread and white-knuckle time. In baseball, it's good pitching will always stop good hitting; in football, it's good defense will always stop good offense.
