Dabo Swinney tells this story of how he got into coaching. In the spring of his senior year (before Spring practice) Gene Stallings called him into his office and they had this conversation.

Gene - Dabo, I need a GA and you're the guy.
Dabo - Coach, thanks for the offer, but I can't take it.
Gene - You didn't hear me. You are the guy I need for GA.
Dabo - Coach, I'm graduating this Spring. I'm married. I've got a job lined up. I can't take the job.
Gene - Dabo, I'm hiring a GA. And, you start Monday.
Dabo took the job.

I hope Mike and Jordan have a similar conversation.

Always been a big fan of Jordan Travis, he always seemed like a great kid and great representative of Florida State. He will be incredibly successful in whatever he does in life, whether that is football-related or not.

These days; especially at the entry level. 80 hours a week kissing recruits/transfers/potential transfers on your own team's azzzes and 20 hours actually coaching ball. I'd try to get a pro job before thinking about college.
