The site had gotten really negative the past couple of years, with the pinnacle of negativity coming earlier this football season. The past few weeks, however, I feel like positive thinking and fun have begun to creep back in. And just like I am thankful for what Dabo has done for Clemson Football, I am thankful for those of you on Tnet who have stayed the course and are the reason Tnet continues to be so great.
Go Tigers and Go Tnet!

I never truly leave. I'm like a stray cat that always shows up when it feels like it. I'll disappear for a few months but I'll always come back for some table scraps and head pats. I'm stuck here no matter what after having this account for over 14 years.
But yeah this site got pretty bad last month. This weekend it felt like a ghost town almost.

The winning?? They won one game against a lousy and I mean lousy FSU team. If FSU backs and receivers could catch we may have lost that game. “The winning” last I check we still have a losing record, there are nine teams, NINE, ahead of us in the ACC and those include CAL, Duke, SMU, Wake, UVA and GT? Six of the biggest powerhouses in all of college football? After we get boat races by Louisville I guess we’ll all celebrate the stirring victory over furman? Stating facts doesn’t mean you’re negative it means you’re being honest. We stink. The offense is predictable as taxes. The defense is so so bad. I have never seen a team have more lapses that lead to totally blown coverages with guys wide open all over the field all game long. Nine games in to the season and they’re still doing it. Three time fsu could’ve thrown a five yard pass that went for forty, or fifty or a TD because the back was so wide open there wasn’t a defender within. Twenty yards. There were flat out drops or times the qb just made a bad throw. Had nothing to do with our defense. Our special teams are as unspecial as they get. Opposing punters flip the field for their teams. Our punter flips the field in reverse for their opposing team. Our return game shouldn’t be called that because we don’t return anything and the most excited we see Dabo get all year was on a two point conversion his son who shouldn’t be on the field scored. Replay must’ve felt sorry for Dabo because the kid clearly never made the end zone but they gave it to him anyway. This isn’t negative this is truth. With transfers and nil money these kids aren’t even on teams long enough to care about a rivalry game. Heck the following season you see five or six players playing for the rival team the next year. It a joke

… then why do you still watch the Tigers play? Serious question.
For me, I like to support the team that works hard every day to improve and which strives for perfection … and digs down deep to compete as best they can. And yet is still humble and self-aware enough to evaluate mistakes and correct them.
I enjoy the optimism of trying to overcome the odds… the intensity, the pageantry, the joy that comes with competing... and getting up every time we’re knocked down.
I like to see the joy and reward of all the hard work in a win… and I like to see my fellow Tiger fans support the team no matter what…. Because that’s what Family does…

I’m not sure………is arriving at a corner doing 217mph, locking up the brakes, blowing all 4 tires at 208mph, losing control and flipping the car 43 times, ending up in an inferno at the base of a 400 year old oak tree and the fire kills the tree……is that turning the corner?
I’d just talk about the 217mph personal speed record and leave the rest of it out.
