I don't see the A. Scott / T. Brown comparison at all

Artavis was bigger and built more as a RB than a WR. Most of his catches were quite frankly from screens and jet sweeps. Rarely did he catch passes down the field. Tyler is a lot faster and looks to be much more versatile as a pass catcher than Artavis. Tyler seems just as effective on short, intermediate, or deep routes. I see more Sammy than Artavis from a versatility standpoint, but he isn't as big or quite as fast. I don't think we've really had a guy that can do what Tyler does at his size in the Dabo/Bowden era. We might have to go all the way back to the Tony Horne days back in the late 90s.

I don’t get that one either, only one I can compare him to would be Amari. With that being said I think Brown has the ability to be better then both of them.

Amari Rogers is the comparison I see. Both show shiftiness and good hands. I think their heights are similar.

Amari was similar to Artavis. They were 2 guys built like RBs playing WR who did most of their damage on screens and jets sweeps. Neither guy excelled much in the intermediate routes or down the field like Tyler does.

Im thinking more like Ray Ray Mccloud but with much better hands. Similar builds and speed.

Probably T Brown's success on Jet Sweep prompts this view

Artavis Scott made a ton of big plays on the jet sweep. When Tyler Brown broke loose on the one against Syracuse, it reminded a lot of Clemson fans of both A. Scott and Amarie Rodgers.

Tyler Brown has played in 5 games so to even mention him with Sammy Watkins is ridiculous. Brown is doing well for a young freshman and will hopefully continue to gain experience and strength and keep his speed.

Tater Tater Chicken Hater the last few weeks. He is Artavis with better hands and more speed....Tough! Artavis may have been the toughest WR we ever had. I bet if he ran the jet sweep,100 times...that he was not taken to the ground more than 30. They either ran him out of bounds or stopped his forward progress. But, he rarely went down. If he would have Jamie Harper's size.....oooooh....no DB would have dared take him on...
