Dabo isn't hesitant on NIL. In fact, Clemson has one of the best NIL programs in the nation. What Dabo probably won't do is recruit a bench warmer from the portal and pay him $700K to come to Clemson for a season and sit out during the post season.

Carter, Mafah, Cade, Antonio Williams, et. al. are doing fine with NIL deals.

Clemson just isn't showing Lamborghinis to HS seniors as they walk on campus. NIL is a business arrangement and Clemson is handling it like so.

You don't see HP signing a college graduate and bragging about how they outbid Dell for his services.

Who says he's hesitant with NIL? He uses the heck out of it to retain talent, he just won't get in a bidding war with another program to land a 5 star.
