My comment wasn't meant to be political but was a joke to highlight how insane the college conference landscape has become. To see a school from Berkeley CA join a conference dominated by schools in the Bible belt some 2000+ miles away is a testimony of how far schools and conferences will go to try and survive the current realignment gold rush where some go bankrupt and others get rich.
And I agree - we do owe Cal a serious skull dragging....

And undoubtedly, advocates of diversity who embrace “acceptance and tolerance” of many groups should also follow that mantra in regard to those who openly practice Christianity. It’s not like religious freedom wasn’t a cornerstone of America’s founding principles. I don’t give any credence to Dabo bashers.
Maybe we should bring back orange overalls for Clemson’s first west coast trip just to embrace our “redneck” history! Apparently “mullets” are also making a comeback with the kids! Then again maybe not?!?
