They’re taught to run routes that aren’t straight down the sideline.

Has alot to do with Scheme (Todd monken is a good oc) and the fact that Bennet throws before his wrs break away from the defender .

Soft coverage.The concept of letting the receiver catch the ball,then tackle.I think a favorite tactic of our former dc.can’t be sure about now due to erroneous play in general.I believe soft coverage is what our favorite team was using that game against OSU when fields picked us apart.what type of coverage do you expect tonight to stop maye?

We'll likely play soft coverage, trying to keep everything in front of us until we back into the red zone to get help from a tighter field, then play man.
