Etienne? Seems like that should of been an easy grab? Did Spiller go talk em? Maybe ask Travis to send his brother some Tiger gear?

Probably the same reason we missed out on DJ Lagway. Dabo told Lagway the truth ..... that there was no guaranteed NIL money unless he played m..... same thing that Nick Saban told him. Trevor was into NIL before he even committed to anyone and my guess is that Florida offered him guaranteed NIL money regardless of his playing time.

Florida's Trevor Etienne joins brother in NIL campaign with Chipotle. Trevor Etienne is growing his NIL brand next to his brother.
The Florida running back has inked an endorsement deal with Chipotle, starring in a new advertisement for the fast-casual Mexican chain with his older brother, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne.
The pair of running backs from Jennings, Louisiana, have been working together on marketing deals throughout the year. They’re starring in an energy drink campaign throughout the season for Ellianos Coffee, a drive-through coffee shop chain in the Southeast.

We had a shot at him, but he wanted to accomplish things on jis own - and not be in a position where people said he got opportunities because of his brother. I completely respect him for that - even though I would have loved for him to have chosen Clemson.
The good thing for him is that his plan is working out for him.... he's accomplishing success on his own.

We did not miss on Trevor, he didn’t want to follow in his brother’s footsteps.

Easy. He wanted to make his own name, not follow his brother.

Isnt it a recruiters job to convince athletes to come to the program? Whether thats by selling the fact that there are no shadows at Clemson football, every player paves their own success, whatever the reason the kid doesnt feel Clemson is a right fit its a recruiters job to show him why hes wrong, right? We obviously knew the kid was a great athlete and cut from a good cloth. Can't be missing on the ones we have good ins with especially.

And if the kid wanted to be close to JAX like his big brother, wasn't it by way of Clemson that big brother Trav ended up in Jacksonville,... permanently? Clemson developed him into a pro style runner etc etc.
